In this episode of From Corporate to Cashflow, hosts Andrea Cannon and Liz Schwab sit down with Whitney Parkhill to talk about investing in RV parks with a mission: rescuing 100,000 dogs through purpose-driven real estate. Whitney’s journey didn’t start in real estate. She began her career in fashion, then made the leap into investing by fix-and-flipping a property in the Bay Area. After experimenting with private money lending and other real estate strategies, Whitney realized she wanted more than financial returns, she wanted her investments to directly support her passion for saving dogs.
That clarity led her to partner with Melissa Ryan (a previous podcast guest: https://youtu.be/W3ajizzJ5TQ?si=crlvZzEU5dyR9EUV) to create a unique investment model: dog-friendly RV parks that also operate as rescue hubs. Together, they’re proving that real estate can be both profitable and impactful. After successfully exiting the corporate world, Whitney is now focused on helping others uncover their own purpose beyond a W2.
Alongside another former podcast guest, Kaila Appleman (https://youtu.be/77P0tKufQ1w?si=xv4EX9nhSJmkYeSy), she’s guiding people who want to build businesses and investments aligned with what matters most to them.
In this episode, we cover: - How Whitney transitioned from fashion to real estate - Why RV parks became the perfect vehicle for impact investing - How to align your investments with your personal mission - What it really takes to leave corporate and build purpose-driven cashflow
Tune in for an inspiring conversation about building wealth without compromising your values.

In Episode 35 of From Corporate to Cashflow, hosts Andrea Cannon and Liz Schwab sit down with Caleb Christopher, a real estate investor who didn’t just adapt to the gaps in the industry, he built solutions to fix them. After repeatedly running into broken systems while structuring creative finance deals, Caleb realized the services investors needed simply didn’t exist at the level they should. So he started his own transaction consulting company, specializing in creative finance and partnering with investors to engineer complex deals the right way. After working on hundreds of transactions and becoming one of the most trusted resources in creative finance, Caleb took it a step further by launching his own Colorado-based title company designed to actually support investor-friendly and non-traditional deals. In this episode, we cover: Why traditional title and closing services often fail creative finance investors How transaction consulting fits into complex deal structures What it takes to build trust in an industry where mistakes are costly Why owning the infrastructure around real estate can be a powerful wealth move If you’re investing with seller financing, subject-to, or other creative strategies, this episode is a must-listen.
Tune in to hear how Caleb turned frustration into opportunity—and built businesses that now serve investors nationwide.

Now, he’s setting his sights on larger asset classes, actively pursuing a mobile home park or RV park as his next move.Alex’s journey proves that you don’t need to wait, be “ready,” or have the perfect setup to start investing in real estate. If you’re early in your career (or just wondering how to take your first step) this episode is packed with inspiration and practical insight you won’t want to miss.Connect with Alex:https://www.facebook.com/share/1A6QJ5Dqg1/?mibextid=wwXIfrIG @kingmurillo.reiFollow me on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/theandreacannonSubscribe to my YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@TheAndreaCannon

In this episode of From Corporate to Cashflow, Andrea Cannon and Liz Schwab sit down with Luke Van Der Veer to discuss buying businesses, a solution to his tax problem. Luke graduated with his MBA but it only took Luke about a month to realize that a W2 job was not a good fit for him. He immediately started side hustles like multi-level marketing, drop shipping, and other gigs in order to figure out how to make money outside of a traditional job. He eventually landed on lead generation through SEO and became very successful renting websites to companies. This success created a massive tax burden so he talked with his CPA about how to pay less taxes and his CPA suggested getting into real estate or business buying. He leaned into the business buying and bought an ice cream catering company using a SBA loan. He then leveraged his lead generation skillset to grow the company. Now he's learned a lot since buying this first business so he's looking to buy additional businesses where he can harness his skills to make a difference. Don't miss this episode where we learn if buying a business can solve your tax problems. And if you have your own tax problems, make sure to reach out to Luke to get leads on your own business to buy.

In this episode of From Corporate to Cashflow, Andrea Cannon and Liz Schwab sit down with Adam Colburn to discuss his journey into entrepreneurship as a real estate investor and coffee shop owner. Adam started his career as a real estate photographer and doing specialized HVAC maintenance work in the pharmaceutical industry but realized that he wanted more to out of his life than what his his path was leading him towards. He started various side hustles - Uber/Lyft, day trading, and print-on-demand t-shirt companies with various success but nothing significiantly moving the needle. But then, Adam came across some videos about wholesaling real estate and that led him to try it for himself. Pretty quickly, he realized that there was more potential than he realized and started fix & flipping and even started his own coffee shop. He shares some of his big wins that he had during the beginning of his journey ($65,000 on his first flip!!) as well as some of the challenges that he experienced along the way including partnerships gone awry and flips that flopped. He talks about not getting too emotional about each individual deal and to let logic and the numbers lead the decision process about which projects to pursue. Because of his success, Adam has just left his full time W2 job to pursue his investing full-time. This episode is as relatable as it is informative and it's one that you don't want to miss.
